LIBOR Reform and TLREF Practices Workshop was organized

LIBOR Reform and TLREF Practices Workshop was organized in cooperation with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD).

Workshop was opened by EBRD Director of Turkey Arvid Tuerkner, followed by speakers from Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey, Borsa Istanbul and EBRD who shared their presentations under such titles as, “Libor Reform, why and what it means for USD borrowers and lenders? “TLREF Index Methodology” and “Current and Expected Role of TLREF in the financial sector”.

Workshop was finalised with a panel where representatives of Borsa Istanbul, EBRD and banks discussed implementation practicalities and implications of LIBOR reform and new risk free rates.
